USCIS to resume Premium Processing on Tuesday, Feb 19th, 2019

As anticipated USCIS is resuming Premium Processing for all H-1B petitions filed on or before December 21, 2018. This means that any amendment, transfer, or extension petition filed before this date can now be upgraded to premium processing by submitting Form I-907 and paying the filing fee of $1,410.00. The I-907 form will need to be submitted to the service center which is now handling your case. To avoid delays you should submit a copy of the transfer notice with your request for premium processing.

If you previously received an RFE and have already responded to the RFE then you should include a copy of your RFE response with your request.

Premium processing guarantees a 15-day processing time, which typically means you will receive either an RFE or a decision on your case within that time frame. If you receive an RFE after submitting a premium request and respond to that RFE, the 15 day clock will re-start once USCIS receives your RFE response.

Any case filed on or after Dec 22, 2018 is not eligible for premium processing at the current time.
